UCEK which is managed by Anna University and headed by the Dean offers AICTE approved Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) Degree Program of Anna University in four Branches of Engineering namely Mechanical Engineering (ME), Electrical and Electronics Engineering (EEE), Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE) and Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) with an annual intake of 60 students in each branch of Engineering.   Admission to undergraduate programs which are mostly in Full Time mode is based on HSC (+2) exam performance through TNEA counseling or direct admission under the Management Quota..

Admission Process:

• TNEA Application:  Admission to the B.Tech program is through the Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions (TNEA) process. Candidates need to apply    Online through the TNEA portal.
  
• Merit List:  Based on the higher secondary marks, a merit list is prepared. The marks are scaled to 200, and ranks are assigned accordingly.
  
• Counseling:  Candidates are called for counseling based on their ranks in the merit list. During counseling, candidates can choose their preferred course and college
  

Eligibility:

• Candidates must have passed the higher secondary examination (10+2) with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (PCM) as core subjects.
  
• Candidates must have obtained a minimum aggregate of 50 % marks in PCM.
