JEE Main 2025: The National Testing Agency has released the JEE Main schedule 2025 for session 2. The JEE Main April 2025 exam will be held on April 2, 3, 4, 7, 8 and 9. The BArch exam will be held on April 9, 2025. Moreover, the BTech paper of April 8 and B.Arch/BPlan paper will be conducted in a single shift. The authority will release the JEE Main 2025 city intimation slip for Session 2 in the second week of March 2025. The link to check the JEE Mains Session 2 city slip will be updated on the website, jeemain nta nic in. Candidates have to provide the JEE login credentials to check the city allotment of JEE Mains 2025.

Overview 

JEE Main 2025: NTA will soon release the JEE Main 2025 session 2 city intimation slip at jeemain.nta.nic.in. The JEE Main 2025 city intimation slip release date season 2 has not been announced by NTA officially, however, NTA JEE city intimation slip will be released in the third week of March, before the release of the JEE admit card. NTA will release the JEE Mains Session 2 Admit Card 3 days before the exam date of the candidates. The tentative JEE Main Admit Card 2025 session 2 release date is March 29. The link to download JEE Main 2025 Session 2 Admit Card and NTA JEE Exam City Intimation Slip session 2 will be provided on this page. Candidates must download their admit card from the website to appear in the exam as per their NTA JEE Mains 2025 exam date Session 2.

NTA has recently announced the final JEE Main 2025 Session 2 exam date. As per the schedule, the NTA JEE Mains 2025 Session 2 exam will be conducted on April 2, 3, 4, 7, and 8 for Paper 1 (BE/BTech) and on April 9 for Paper 2 (BArch and BPlan).

JEE Main Session 2 Registration 2025 is closed. NTA JEE Mains 2025 Registration last date and time session 2 was February 25 up to 9 pm. NTA opened the JEE Main Session 2 Correction Window 2025 on February 27. Candidates were allowed to make changes in their application during the JEE Mains session 2 form correction facility. The last date for JEE Main correction window 2025 session 2 was February 28.

What is JEE Main Exam?

The Joint Entrance Examination (Main), popularly called JEE Main, is the exam conducted for admission to BTech, BArch and BPlan courses at NITs, IIITs, other Centrally Funded Technical Institutions (CFTIs), Institutions/Universities funded/recognized by participating State Governments. The JEE Main exam is also an eligibility test for JEE Advanced, conducted for admission to IITs.

JEE Main is held twice a year, which gives students two opportunities to secure a good score. Students have the option to appear in one or both attempts.

Candidates seeking admission in Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs) need to qualify the JEE Main by securing the minimum cutoff marks. The competition is intense, with lakhs of students appearing each year, making it essential for aspirants to prepare diligently.

The JEE Main 2025 exam will consist of three papers:

⇒ Paper 1 for admission to BE/BTech courses. It includes questions from classes 11 and 12 Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics subjects.

⇒ Paper 2 A and 2B for admission to BArch and BPlan courses respectively. Paper 2A includes Mathematics, Aptitude Test, and Drawing while Paper 2B consists of Mathematics, Aptitude Test, and Planning-based questions.

The NTA JEE Mains 2025 exam will be computer-based, except for the Drawing section of Paper 2, which is pen-and-paper-based. The NTA had earlier announced JEE Main 2025 changes in the exam pattern. As per the new exam pattern, section B of the JEE Main 2025 exam will now have only 5 questions per subject, and students need to answer all 5 questions without any facility of choice. JEE Main 2025 Dates: The National Testing Agency will conduct the JEE Mains Session 2 exam 2025 on April 2, 3, 4, 7, and 8 for Paper 1 (BE/BTech) and Paper 2 on April 9. JEE Main 2025 Session 2 city intimation slip will be released tentatively in the third week of March. JEE Mains Session 2 Admit Card 2025 will be released 3 days before the exam date for all the registered candidates.

1. JEE Main 2025 Exams Highlights

JEE Main Session 2 City Intimation Slip Date 2025

NTA has released JEE Main Session 2 City Intimation Slip 2025 on March 20. JEE Mains 2025 Session 2 Exam city allotment is available for download online on the website jeemain.nta.nic.in. The city intimation slip mentions details of the exam date and exam city of the candidate. Candidates must note that the exam city slip is different from admit card.

NTA released the JEE Main session 1 exam city intimation slip 2025 session 1 on January 10. JEE Mains 2025 admit card session 1 was released on January 18, after the release of the exam city intimation slip.

2.JEE Main Session 2 City Intimation Slip Date 2025

The NTA released JEE Main Result 2025 Session 1 on February 12 and the JEE Main Answer Key was released on February 4. JEE Main Session 1 exam date 2025 was January 22, 23, 24, 28 and 29, 2025. The NTA conducted JEE Main 2025 Paper 2 on January 30, 2025. JEE Mains Session 2 Exam Date 2025

JEE Main 2025 Exam Date Session 1 and 2: NTA will conduct the JEE Mains exam 2025 session 2 on April 2, 3, 4, 7, and 8 for Paper 1 (BE/BTech) and Paper 2 on Aril 9. The first session exam was held on January 22, 23, 24, 28 and 29, 2025 (Paper 1), and January 30, 2025 (Paper 2). Candidates can appear in one or both sessions as per their preference. The best score of the two sessions will be considered for deciding the All India rank of candidates.

JEE Mains 2025 Session 2 Admit Card Date

NTA will release the JEE Mains 2025 Session 2 Admit Card 3 days before the exam date. The tentative JEE Mains Session 2 Admit Card 2025 date is March 29. JEE Main Admit card 2025 session 2 will be issued to all the registered candidates who completed the registration, application and application fees payment within the last date. Candidates have to download their admit card from the JEE Main official website jeemain.nta.nic.in. NTA released the admit card for the JEE Main 2025 session 1 exam on January 18, 2025.

JEE Main Exam Day Schedule

JEE Main 2025 Form Correction Date

NTA provided the facility to make corrections in JEE Main Application 2025 for session 2 from February 27 to 28. Candidates were allowed to to modify any incorrect details in the filled application forms during the JEE Main session 2 correction window 2025. The last date to correct the filled application form was February 28, 2025. Candidates who wish to change the information in the application form or modify any details can use the JEE Main form correction facility to make the changes/modifications. The JEE Main image correction window will also be provided separately, beside the application correction facility.

JEE Main 2025 Answer Key Date

The JEE Main 2025 answer key session 1 has been released. NTA has released the JEE Main answer key 2025 session 1 online on the website jeemain.nta.nic.in. Candidates can download the answer key by login to the website.

For session 2, JEE Mains answer key 2025 will be available in the second week of April. To download the answer key, candidates have to login to the website using their application number and date of birth/password.

JEE Main 2025 Result Date

JEE Mains 2025 result session 1 has been announced. NTA released the JEE Mains result 2025 session 1 on February 11, ahead of the scheduled date which was February 12. JEE Main 2025 result was released online on the website jeemain.nta.nic.in. Candidates have to login to the website using their application number and password. The copy of candidate scorecard will have details about percentile score of all the subjects and aggregate percentile score. The details of All India Rank and JEE Main cutoff will be available in the JEE Main result 2025 session 2. For session 2, the results will be announced by the third week of April.

JEE Main 2025 Counselling Date

The Joint Seat Allocation authority (JoSAA) will conduct the JEE Main 2025 counselling in June for admission to IITs, NITs, IIITs and GFTIs. The schedule of counselling will be announced in April.

The counselling will be conducted in online mode. To participate in counselling, candidates have to register in the JoSAA portal and fill choices of their preferred colleges and courses. Candidates with scores of JEE Main will eligible for BTech admission to NITs, IIITs and other GFTIs. Candidates who qualifies JEE Advanced will be eligible for admission to IITs.

JEE Main Admit Card 2025 Session 2: NTA will release the JEE Mains Session 2 Admit Card 2025 three days before the exam date. How to Download JEE Main Session 2 Admit Card 2025

NTA will activate the JEE Main 2025 Session 2 admit card download link in the last week of March. Candidates can download their JEE Main Session 2 admit card 2025 using the below-mentioned steps

The JEE Main application form fees for general category is INR 1000. JEE Mains 2025 registration fee for OBC candidates is INR 800 and for SC, the application fee is INR 500. Candidates are advised to check JEE Main 2025 Eligibility criteria before filling the form. As per the eligibility criteria, candidates applying for JEE Main 2025 must have passed class 12 in 2023 or 2024 or appear in 2025. There is no condition of age or marks in class 12 to apply for JEE Mains.

Candidates need to upload a scanned image of their passport-sized photo and signature while filling the JEE Mains April attempt registration form as per the size mentioned. Candidates belonging to OBC-NCL or EWS need to provide details of the certificate issuing person and date of issue in the application form. PwD/PwBD candidates need to upload their category certificates in the JEE Mains 2nd attempt registration 2025.

JEE Mains 2025 Correction Window Link

JEE Main 2025 session 2 form correction window was available from February 27 to February 28. To use the JEE Main 2025 application form correction facility, candidates have to login to the website using their application form number and password after which they have to select the information that needs to be modified. All the modifications have to be done carefully as the information once changed can not be reverted. Candidates must note that only certain fields can be edited during the correction period. It is a one-time facility open that allows candidates to make changes to their forms. Candidates must note that the correction facility is provided only once so they have to modify the details carefully within JEE Main 2025 correction date.

Click on the JEE Main 2025 Correction window link
Login using your application number and password
JEE Main application form 2025 will be displayed on the screen
Select the information that needs to be edited and make the required changes
Click on the Save button
After making all the changes, candidates were advised to download and take a printout of their JEE Mains form 2025.

Can I fill another application form in case of mistakes in the first form
Candidates must not to fill more than one JEE Main 2025 application form. If any candidate fills multiple application forms, NTA could cancel the forms and his/her candidature will be rejected. It is thus strongly advised to fill out only one application form.
