IGNOU January ODL 2026 Update
IGNOU has officially extended the final date for submission of applications for Open and Distance Learning as well as Online programmes for the January 2026 session. With this extension, students can now apply until February 28, 2026.
Eligible candidates can submit their applications through the university’s official admission portal. The revised timeline offers additional time to those who were unable to apply earlier. IGNOU provides a wide range of undergraduate, postgraduate, diploma, and certificate programmes.
Students are advised not to delay their registration until the final date, as increased website traffic near the deadline may cause technical issues. The extended deadline covers multiple programmes including BCom, MCom, BA, MA, BSc, Diplomas, and MBA courses. Admissions for ODL programmes at IGNOU are conducted twice annually, in January and July sessions.
