Category Change Allowed During Correction Window

Students who wish to change their category can do so during this period.

• Candidates who initially filled the form under OBC or EWS category but now believe they may not be able to obtain the required eligibility certificate dated after 1st April 2026 can switch to the Open category.

• Similarly, candidates who mistakenly selected the Open category earlier and now expect to obtain valid OBC or EWS certificates dated after 1st April 2026 can change their category accordingly.

This is an important and beneficial opportunity for students who need to update their category details.

Other Details That Can Be Corrected

During the correction window, candidates can also modify :

• Category details

• Class 10th and 12th information (such as roll number or school name, if entered incorrectly)

• Eligibility details

• Examination city (only within the state corresponding to the present and permanent address)

• Medium of the question paper

• Mode of examination

Candidates are advised to carefully review all details before making corrections.

Any correction made during this window will be reflected in both Session 1 and Session 2 application forms. Therefore, students must ensure that all updates are accurate and final.
