JEE Main 2026 exam city intimation slip download link: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has issued the exam city intimation slip for the April session of JEE Main 2026. Applicants can access and download their city slip through the official website at www.jeemain.nta.nic.in. Alongside this, NTA has also revised the examination schedule for Session 2.
Previously, the exams were planned between April 2 and April 9, but now the revised dates are April 2, 4, 5, 6, 7, and April 8, 2026. The exam will be conducted at multiple centres across various cities in India as well as 15 international cities.
When will the NTA JEE Main 2026 exam take place?
For Session 2 of JEE Main 2026:
- Paper 1 (B.E./B.Tech) will be conducted on April 02, 04, 05, 06, and April 8, 2026.
- Paper 2A (B.Arch), Paper 2B (B.Planning), and the combined Paper 2A & 2B (B.Arch & B.Planning) will be held on April 7, 2026.

Is the JEE Main exam city slip
the same as the admit card?
Candidates should understand that the exam city slip and the admit card are not the same. As clarified by NTA, the city intimation slip is issued in advance to inform candidates about the city where their exam centre will be located, helping them make necessary travel arrangements.
Steps to Download JEE Main 2026 Exam City Intimation Slip
Follow the steps below to download the slip:
1. Visit the official website: https://jeemain.nta.nic.in/
2. Click on the link titled “Advance City Intimation for JEE(Main) – 2026 [Session-II]”
3. Enter your login credentials such as application number, password, and security pin
4. The exam city slip will be displayed on the screen
5. Download the document and take a printout for future use
The JEE (Main) – 2026examination is being conducted in the following modes:
- a) Paper 1 (B.E. /B. Tech.) in “Computer Based Test (CBT)” mode.
- b) Paper 2A (B. Arch): Mathematics (Part-I) and Aptitude Test (Part-II) in “Computer Based Test (CBT)” mode and Drawing Test (Part-III) in pen and paper (offline) mode, to be attempted on a drawing sheet of A4 size.
- c) Paper 2B (B. Planning): Mathematics (Part-I), Aptitude Test (Part-II), and Planning-Based Questions (Part-III) in Computer-Based Test (CBT) mode.
