AFCAT 1 Application Form 2026: Last Date Approaching, Exam Scheduled for January 31: The AFCAT 1 2026 application process is currently underway, and candidates aspiring to appear for the examination on January 31, 2026, must complete their application form on the official website before the deadline. The Indian Air Force (IAF)is accepting online applications for AFCAT 1 2026 until December 14, 2025. Candidates who have not yet submitted their forms must visit the official AFCAT portal at afcat.cdac.in to complete the process. The IAF AFCAT 1 recruitment drive aims to fill 340 vacancies across multiple branches, including Flying Branch, Ground Duty (Technical), and Ground Duty (Non-Technical).

The AFCAT application feeis INR 550 for candidates of all categories. Applicants must carefully review all entered details before final submission, as no edits will be permitted after the ‘Course Preferences’ selection and the ‘Make Payment’ stage. Therefore, candidates should thoroughly verify their information before paying the AFCAT 1 application fee.

AFCAT 1 Exam on January 31, 2026

The AFCAT 1 2026 examwill include the following four sections:

  • General Awareness

  • Verbal Ability in English

  • Numerical Ability

  • Reasoning and Military Aptitude Test

The exam carries a total of 300 marks, and negative marking will be applied for incorrect answers. Candidates who qualify the online written test will be shortlisted for the AFSB Interview. The final merit list will be prepared based on the combined performance in both stages—AFCAT online exam and the AFSB interview.
