IISER Admission 2026:
The Indian Institutes of Science Education and Research (IISERs) have announced
the complete admission schedule for the IISER Aptitude Test 2026. According to
the official notification, the IAT registration process will begin on March 5,
2026. Eligible candidates can apply online for IISER admissions through the
official portal, www.iiseradmission.in with the last date to submit the
application form being April 13, 2026.
Applicants from the General, EWS, OBC, and OBC-NCL categories are required to pay an application fee of INR 2000. Candidates belonging to the SC/ST category, Persons with Disabilities (PwD), and those registered as Kashmiri Migrants / Kashmiri Pandits / Kashmiri Hindu Families (Non-Migrant) need to pay INR 1000. Meanwhile, applicants applying under the Foreign National category must submit an application fee of INR 12000.

IISER Aptitude Test (IAT) 2026
The IISER Aptitude Test 2026 is scheduled to be conducted on June 7, 2026, starting at 9:00 AM. The examination will be held in computer-based mode at multiple test centres across India. The IISER IAT question paper will consist of 60 multiple-choice questions, with 15 questions each from Biology, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Physics.

The total duration of the
examination will be 180 minutes. Each question will have only one
correct answer. The maximum score of the test is 240 marks, and the
marks obtained by candidates will be used to prepare the IISER IAT 2026 rank
list.
