Indian Institute of Technology Bombay has activated the application portal for the B.Des programmes from March 14, 2026. Candidates who have qualified for the B.Des programme through Undergraduate Common Entrance Examination for Design (UCEED) at participating and result-sharing institutes can now proceed with the application. The B.Des application portal will remain open until April 10, 2026, up to 5:30 PM.

The B.Des application form is applicable for admissions to the following institutes: Indian Institute of Technology Bombay, Indian Institute of Technology Delhi, Indian Institute of Technology Guwahati, Indian Institute of Technology Hyderabad, Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee, Indian Institute of Technology Indore, and Indian Institute of Information Technology Design and Manufacturing Jabalpur.

Steps to Fill the B.Des Application

The process to complete the B.Des application form is outlined below.

1.    Visitwww.portal.iitb.ac.in/bdesapp to check the eligibility criteria.

2.    View the revised seat matrix.

3.    Verify your UCEED details.

4.    Complete the B.Des application form by providing the following information:

o   Personal Details

o   Education Details

o   Institute Preferences

5.    Upload the required documents:

o   Marksheet of 12th standard

o   Age Proof

o   Physical Disability Certificate (If Applicable)

o   Caste Certificate (If Applicable)

o   EWS Certificate (If Applicable)

o   Nationality Certificate (If Applicable)

o   OCI/PIO Certificate (If Applicable)

6.    Pay the application fee.

7.    Submit the form, print it, sign it, and upload the signed copy.
