VUNET serves as the university’s entrance examination for admission to various undergraduate and postgraduate courses. Qualifying in this test is compulsory for admission to specific programmes offered by Vishwakarma University. The entrance exam is applicable for courses such as B.Des, BFT (Fashion Design & Technology), LLB, B.Tech, B.Pharm, M.Des, LLM, MBA, and MCA.

However, applicants who have already appeared for certain national or state-level entrance examinations may not be required to take VUNET. For example, scores from Undergraduate Common Entrance Examination for Design or National Institute of Fashion Technology Entrance Exam are accepted for design programmes, while Common Entrance Examination for Design scores are considered for admission to M.Des programmes.

Similarly, scores from Joint Entrance Examination Main or Maharashtra Common Entrance Test are accepted for B.Tech admissions. For MBA admissions, the university considers scores from Common Admission Test, Common Management Admission Test, or MH-CET.

The VUNET 2026examination will be conducted in online proctored mode through the university’s official testing platform. For non-design programmes, the exam will contain 100 multiple-choice questions that must be completed within 2.5 hours. For design programmes, the selection process will involve a three-stage evaluation, including a Design Aptitude Test, Studio Test, and Personal Interview.
