NEET UG 2026
NEET UG remains the sole nationwide entrance examination for admission to undergraduate medical and dental courses such as MBBS and BDS. Conducted once annually by the National Testing Agency (NTA), NEET UG differs from JEE Main, which is held twice a year.
Although the exam authority has not yet released an official notification for NEET UG 2026, the National Medical Commission (NMC) has published the updated syllabus. It details the Physics, Chemistry, and Biology topics for the upcoming medical entrance exam. In the previous cycle, NEET UG 2025 was conducted on May 4, with the application process running from February 7 to March 7, 2025.
JEE Main 2026 – Session 2
For JEE Main 2026, registrations for Session 2, corresponding to the April 2026 examination, are expected to begin in the final week of January 2026. This timeline aligns with the pattern followed in earlier years. The NTA is likely to announce complete details once Session 1 concludes.
BITSAT 2026
BITSAT serves as the admission gateway to undergraduate programmes offered by the Birla Institute of Technology and Science (BITS). The application process for BITSAT began on December 15. For Session 1, applications will remain open until March 16, while the registration window for Session 2 will be available from April 20 to May 2, 2026. Eligible candidates can apply online through the official admissions portal at www.admissions.bits-pilani.ac.in.
MHT CET 2026
MHT CET scores are utilised for admission to engineering and medical colleges across Maharashtra. Starting with the 2026–27 academic year, the Maharashtra Common Entrance Test will be conducted twice annually.
From the 2026 admission cycle onward, MHT-CET will be held in two phases—April and May 2026. Appearing for at least one session is compulsory for admission to professional courses, while attempting both sessions remains optional. For candidates who appear in both, the higher score will be considered, mirroring the JEE Main admission process.
According to the tentative schedule released by the CET Cell, MAH MHT CET 2026 for the PCM group will be conducted from April 11 to April 19, while the PCB group examinations are scheduled between April 21 and April 26. The MAH MBA/MMS CET 2026 is slated for April 6 to April 8.
AP EAMCET 2026
The Andhra Pradesh Engineering, Agriculture and Medical Common Entrance Test (AP EAMCET) is conducted for admissions to engineering, agriculture, and pharmacy programmes within the state. The examination is scheduled on May 12, 13, 14, 15, and 18, 2026. Registrations will be carried out through the same official portal. The Agriculture and Pharmacy examinations will be organised across four sessions.
KCET 2026
The Karnataka Common Entrance Test (KCET) is administered by the Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) to shortlist candidates for engineering, veterinary, and pharmacy admissions. While the Authority has not yet announced the exam or application dates for 2026, past trends offer guidance. In 2025, registrations began on January 23 and closed on February 24.
That year, the examination was held from April 16 to April 18, with two shifts on April 16 and 17. The morning session ran from 10:30 am to 11:50 am, while the afternoon session was conducted from 2:30 pm to 3:50 pm.
NIFT 2026
The National Testing Agency opened the NIFT 2026 registration process on December 8 through its official portal, exams.nta.nic.in/niftee. Candidates can complete the online application form without a late fee until January 6, 2026. Submissions made between January 7 and January 10, 2026, will incur an additional late fee of Rs 5,000.
VITEEE 2026
Registrations for VITEEE 2026 are currently in progress. The application window opened on October 24, 2025, and the tentative last date to apply is March 31, 2026, as per the official VIT website. The entrance examination will be conducted from April 28 to May 3, 2026. Results are expected in the second week of May 2026, followed by the start of online counselling during the same period.
WBJEE 2026
The West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination (WBJEE) is conducted for candidates seeking admission to degree programmes in Engineering, Technology, Pharmacy, and Architecture in government and private institutions across West Bengal. The exam is held annually in offline mode using OMR sheets by the WBJEE Board.
While official dates have not yet been announced, previous years suggest that the WBJEE 2026 registration process may begin in January 2026 via the official website. Candidates will need to complete the application form, pay the prescribed fee, and submit it within the stipulated timeline, with the deadline likely falling in February 2026.
OJEE 2026
The Odisha Joint Entrance Examination (OJEE) authority is expected to release the OJEE 2026 notification on its official website, ojee.nic.in. The registration process is likely to commence in the last week of January 2026 and continue until March 2026. In the previous cycle, OJEE 2025 examinations were held from May 2 to May 12, with registrations starting on January 30.
AEEE 2026
Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Coimbatore, has initiated the registration process for the AEEE 2026 examination for BTech aspirants. The last date to apply for Phase 1 is January 15, 2026. Interested and eligible candidates must submit their applications online at aeee.amrita.edu and pay a registration fee of Rs 1,300 through online payment modes. AEEE is a national-level entrance test conducted for engineering admissions to this reputed institution.
TS EAMCET 2026
Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Hyderabad (JNTUH) will conduct the Telangana State Engineering, Agriculture and Medical Common Entrance Test (TG EAMCET 2026). The computer-based test for engineering admissions is scheduled for May 9, 10, and 11, 2026. Examinations for agriculture and pharmacy admissions will be held on May 4 and May 5, 2026.
CUET PG 2026
The National Testing Agency conducts the Common University Entrance Test for Postgraduate programmes (CUET PG) for admissions to PG courses offered by Central, State, private, and Deemed Universities, along with other participating institutions. Registrations for CUET PG 2026 opened on December 14, 2025, and will close on January 14, 2026.
This year, candidates have been given enhanced flexibility in selecting exam centres. Applicants can now choose up to four preferred examination cities while filling out the application form, provided these cities fall within the state of their permanent or current residence.
TANCET 2026
Anna University conducts the Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test (TANCET) for candidates seeking admission to MBA and MCA programmes across Tamil Nadu. Over 200 colleges in the state accept TANCET scores for postgraduate admissions. While no official notification has been released yet for 2026, the application process in 2025 began on January 24, offering a tentative timeline reference.
