The National Testing Agency (NTA) is expected to begin JEE Main 2026 registration this week

 Ahead of the official release, the agency has activated the demo link for filling the JEE Main 2026 application form on its official website — jeemain.nta.nic.in.

As per past trends, the actual registration window usually opens within one or two days after the demo link is made live. Once the registration begins, candidates will be able to access the official link to fill out and submit their JEE Main 2026 application form online.

The exact registration date has not yet been announced by the NTA, but according to the details available on the official portal, the application form will be released in October 2025. The complete notification, including guidelines for filling the form, application fees, and list of required documents, will be published along with the release of the form.

Expected Changes in JEE Main 2026 Application Process

According to media reports, the JEE Main 2026 application procedure may undergo certain updates this year.

Candidates may not need to select exam city preferences; instead, the exam centre is likely to be allotted based on the current address entered in the form.

Basic candidate details such as name, gender, parents’ names, and address might be auto-filled using the candidate’s Aadhaar number, simplifying the process.

Exam Schedule

The JEE Main 2026 will be conducted in two sessions — January and April. Aspirants can choose to appear in one or both sessions. Separate application forms will be released for each session.
