NTA is currently accepting online applications for JEE Main 2026 on the official portal jeemain.nta.nic.in. Candidates are strongly advised to finish the application process in advance to avoid last-minute technical issues. The authority has confirmed that the JEE Main application deadline will not be extended.

New Changes Introduced in the JEE Main 2026 Application Form
Below are the major updates added to this year’s registration system:
- Compulsory live photo capture using a webcam.
- Automated identity verification during registration.
- Exam centre allocation based on Aadhaar address.
- Updated upload size limits:
- Photo: 10 KB–200 KB
- Signature: 10 KB–100 KB
- PwD candidates must upload the UDID certificate in PDF format (50 KB–300 KB).
- No corrections allowed in the photograph after submission.
- Official correction window: December 1–2, 2025.
JEE Main 2026 Session 1 will be conducted from January 21 to 30, 2026, while Session 2 is scheduled from April 2 to 9, 2026. The exam continues in CBT mode, offered in 13 languages, including English, Hindi, and other regional languages.
