As per NTA, most fields in the application form will be available for rectification. However, certain details cannot be modified, including the candidate’s email ID, mobile number, permanent and present address, emergency contact details, and uploaded photograph.
JEE Main Form Correction 2026: Live Updates
The JEE Main 2026 form correction facility is now active on the official website, jeemain.nta.nic.in. Candidates must use their JEE Main 2026 application number and password/date of birth to access the correction portal.
This is a one-time correction opportunity, and no additional chances will be provided after December 2.
How to Edit Details in JEE Main 2026 Application Form
Follow the steps below to make corrections in the JEE Main 2026 form:
1. Visit the official website: www.jeemain.nta.nic.in
2. Click on the JEE Main 2026 Form Correction link on the homepage.
3. The login page will appear.
4. Enter your Application Number and Password/Date of Birth.
5. Once logged in, access the fields that are editable.
6. Make the required changes in the application form.
7. Review all modified details carefully—no further correction window will be available.
8. Submit the form and save the updated version.
9. Pay the correction fee, if applicable.
What Happens After JEE Main 2026 Form Correction?
Once the correction window closes, NTA will not allow any additional changes.
In the first week of January 2026, NTA will release the JEE Main 2026 Session 1 City Intimation Slip, allowing candidates to check the city of their allotted exam centre.
The JEE Main 2026 Admit Card will be issued 3–4 days before the examination, and it will include details such as:
- Exam date
- Shift timing
- Exam centre name and address
- Important exam-day instructions
NTA will conduct the JEE Main 2026 Session 1 exam between January 21 and 30, with exact exam dates to be announced soon.
