The stray round is being organized to fill the vacant seats left after the completion of the fourth round of online counselling. Unlike previous rounds, this counselling process will be conducted offline in physical mode at the university campus.
Counselling Schedule and Venue
The Stray Round Counselling will be held on January 9, 2026, at the LUVAS Campus, Hisar. Eligible candidates must be physically present at the venue to participate in the counselling process.
Eligibility Criteria for Stray Round Counselling
Candidates seeking admission through this round must ulfil the following eligibility conditions:
- Must have qualified NEET-UG 2025
- Should not have been allotted any seat in earlier counselling rounds conducted by LUVAS
- Must be eligible as per ICAR and Veterinary Council of India (VCI) norms
Only candidates satisfying all the above requirements will be allowed to participate in the stray round counselling.
Registration Process and Fee
- Registration Fee: ₹14,000/-
- Mode of Registration: Physical registration at the counselling venue
- On-the-spot registration: Permitted
The registration fee paid during counselling will be adjusted against the admission fee in case the candidate is allotted a seat.
Important Instructions for Candidates
LUVAS has issued several important guidelines for candidates participating in the stray round:
- The stray round will be conducted only if vacant seats are available
- No sliding of seats will be allowed during this counselling round
- Counselling will be combined for 10+ICAR candidates
- Candidates reporting late may face cancellation of candidature
- Aspirants are strongly advised to report well in advance at the counselling venue
- Seats remaining vacant after the stray round will be offered to private colleges, subject to availability

The tentative seat matrix showing the number of vacant seats at LUVAS and its affiliated colleges will be published on the official LUVAS website prior to the counselling date.
