At present, NEET PG 2025 Round-3 counselling is underway. As per the official schedule, MCC is expected to declare the Round-3 seat allotment result on January 29, 2026. The allotment list will be made available online, and candidates will need to download the PDF from the official MCC website. The Round-3 registration window closed on January 29. Earlier, MCC released the revised seat matrix on January 23, 2026. According to the latest notice, the choice filling deadline for Round-3 has been extended due to the addition of new seats.

NEET PG 2025 Cutoff Revised

Previously, the National Board of Examinations (NBE) revised the NEET PG 2025 cutoff for all categories. The cutoff was lowered to ensure that more candidates become eligible to participate in the counselling rounds. After Round-3 of MCC NEET PG Counselling 2025, nearly 18,000 seats remained vacant. To address this, NBE reduced the cutoff to the 0th percentile and a –40 score for the SC/ST category, which triggered significant debate. Critics argue that lowering the cutoff to –40 may impact the quality of doctors and could ultimately influence overall patient care.
