NIOS Class 10 and 12 exams 2026 are set to commence from April 10, 2026. The National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS) will continue the theory examinations for both classes until May 6, 2026. Students must carry their NIOS hall ticket 2026 on each exam day, as entry to the examination hall will not be permitted without it.
The NIOS result 2026 is expected to be declared in June 2026. Approximately 1 lakh students are appearing for the NIOS Class 10 and 12 exams this year. The NIOS date sheet 2026 was released earlier in March 2026.
NIOS Exam 2026: Guidelines
Students should follow the important instructions listed below:
- Students must reach the examination hall before the commencement of the exam
- Carrying the NIOS admit card 2026 is mandatory
- Students should bring necessary stationery items and a water bottle if required
- Plan travel to the exam centre considering weather and traffic conditions
- Do not carry mobile phones or any prohibited electronic devices to the exam centre
- Carefully read and follow all instructions mentioned on the NIOS hall ticket 2026
- Students must refrain from any unfair practices during the examination
