Andhra University is not just one of the oldest educational institutions in the country, but is also the first to be conceived as a residential and teaching-cum-affiliating University, mainly devoted to post-graduate teaching and research.

The candidates who have passed two year P U examination of Andhra P U Board or its equivalent
in any subject are eligible for the B Com courses. Those who have completed the
same in Science subjects are eligible for the B Sc courses offered here.
