AISAT is a leading educational institution offering quality education in the field of engineering. AISAT has a well-structured infrastructure of international standards to help the students to creatively apply scientific principles to design or develop structures and machines. AISAT fosters all round development of a student by incorporating major genres of education like reasoning, psychomotor and emotional learning to socialize students to become useful members of the society. AISAT has been affiliated to M.G university (till 2018) and currently affiliated to APJ Abdul Kalam Technological University.

According to the directive given by Director of Technical Education, Kerala, 50% of the M. Tech seats will be filled by the College from the rank list published by DTE. Remaining 50% of the  M. Tech seats will be filled by the College on merit.

For both categories candidates have to apply at the College

For the 50% allotted by the College from the Rank List published by DTE:-

Candidates should have applied online to DTE. They have to apply to the College also. GATE qualified candidates will be selected from the rank list published by DTE.

For the 50% seats in College Merit:-

Candidates are requested to apply to the college directly. GATE qualified candidates will have preference. To prepare the rank list for College merit, score (in percentile) of GATE, marks obtained in qualifying examination, admission test/ interview conducted by the College and industry/teaching experience will be considered.

Placement & Training Cell (P & T Cell)

Placement & Training (P & T) Cell offers to support budding technocrats for effective placements. The Cell is making every effort to invite companies / organisations for placements to our students.

The P & T Cell of AISAT promotes the students to learn the art of employability through short term courses that focuses on bridging the gap that exists between the curriculum and Industry. The Cell offers practical training program for Engineering Undergraduate students to provide necessary knowledge-base and practical skills required by the organisations, along with improving the Soft Skills of the students.

The placement cell is proactively involved in the vocational programmes including personality development, technical seminars and training  the students starting from the first year, apart from organizing various discussions with filed experts for the betterment of the knowledge of the students. The college has also taken the initiative to form a consortium of placement officers of various engineering colleges and industries in the state

The Cell is headed by Prof. Jose V Mathew, Director – P & T Cell.

Various activities of the Cell are coordinated by the core members of the P & T Cell.

Scholarships to Entrance Top Rank Holders

Fee waiver is granted to students with Kerala Entrance Rank as Follows:

Rank up to 10000 : No Tuition Fee
Rank Between 10001 and 15000 : Rs 5000/- Tuition Fees only
Rank Between 15001 and 20000 : Rs 8250/- Tuition Fees only
Scholarship Based on Plus Two PCM Marks

Rev.Fr.Augustine Konnully Memorial Scholarship based on Plus two PCM Marks (Average of Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics)

For those having above 90% and above – No Tuition Fee
For those having marks between 85% to 90% – Scholarship of Rs. 30,000/-
For those having marks between 80% to 85% – Scholarship of Rs. 20,000/-
For those having marks between 75% to 80% – Scholarship of Rs. 15,000/-
For those having marks between 70% to 75% – Scholarship of Rs. 10,000/-
This will be continued for the following years, provided that there is value addition in the performance of such students.

Library

Welcome to the Library and Information Division of AISAT. It was established in the year 2011, serves as a knowledge hub containing resources not only in the form of print but also in e-resources and provide students with access to a vast repository of resources, including books and Journals both print and online. College library is located in a spacious hall of the main building, A-block for all students and staff members and have to register at library for utilizing the facility.  The Library reading space can accommodate more than 150 students. Entry and Exit in the library controlled through E-Gate.  User identification can be done by smart card reader.  In-time & out-time report of Student’s & staff can be tracked. Library functions such as Acquisition, Circulation, and Cataloguing have been automated using open source software- KOHA and DSPACE used for digital repository.  The working hour is from 8.00 am. to 5.00 pm, on all working days.

Conveyance

The college offers conveyance facility to the students at economical rates. The bus route includes important points of City and Suburbs. Experienced drivers are engaged in the buses and parents can be assured that their wards are provided with transportation facility in a safe and secure environment.
