Intake capacity: 100 Seats

Admissions in Arawali Veterinary College shall be made under three broad categories:-

1. Regular Seats (35);

Admission on 35 regular seats will be made by Rajasthan University of Veterinary Sciences & Animal Sciences (RAJUVAS), Bikaner from the candidates of Rajasthan State Domicile and having qualified in NEET Examination-2023.

Reservation policy on admissions is as per Rajasthan State Government Reservation policy adopted by RAJUVAS.

2. VCI quota (15 seats):

On 15% seats of intake capacity of each recognized veterinary college, admission is made by Veterinary Council of India from the candidates who have qualified and are in merit of NEET Examination conducted by Govt. of India. For further details visit www.vci.nic.in

3. Management Quota (50 seats):

Admission on 50 Management quota seats is made by the Admission Committee of Arawali Veterinary College. Candidates from all States of India belonging to all categories who have appear to qualify NEET - 2023 are eligible to apply.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR ADMISSION IN B.V.Sc. & A.H. DEGREE COURSE
The Bachelor of Veterinary Science & Animal Husbandry (B.V.Sc. & A.H.) degree course program comprises of a course of study consisting of curriculum and syllabus specified in Part IV of Minimum Standards of Veterinary Education- Degree course (B.V.Sc. & A.H.) Regulations, 2016 (MSVE-2016) of Veterinary Council of India, New Delhi. The course program is spread over five and half complete professional years including a compulsory internship training of one year duration undertaken after successful completion of all credits as prescribed in the syllabus (visit https://vci.dadf.gov.in ; MSVE-2016)

A candidate shall be admitted to Bachelor of Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry degree course who fulfills the following criteria for admission. Therefore, before submitting the Application Form offline, the candidate should satisfy his/her eligibility for admission. The candidate is required to go through this information very carefully and acquaint himself/herself with all the requirements with regard to his/her admission eligibility and submission of Application Form (download from www.arawaliveterinarycollege.com).

(a)Age Limit:

Minimum Age: The candidate must have completed the minimum age of 17 years on or before 31-12-2023.

Maximum age: Maximum permitted upper age for general category candidates for taking admission in first year B.V.SC. & A.H. is 25 years as on 31-12-2023 with relaxation of 5 years for the candidates belonging to reserved categories.

Note: the date of birth as recorded in the secondary examination marks sheet / certificate will be taken as authentic for this purpose.

(b) Essential Educational Qualifications:

To be eligible for admission, the candidate must have passed the Senior Secondary (of 10+2 scheme) or equivalent recognized Examination with Science Biology group from a Statutory Indian Board/University (established under act by the State Governments or Central Government) taken after 12 years of regular study, the last 2 years of study with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology (which shall also include a practical examination in these subjects) and any other elective subjects along with English as one of the core compulsory subjects. Provided further, the candidate must have passed the aforesaid subjects individually and also separately both in Theory and Practical examinations in the subjects of Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Biotechnology. Further, the

General category candidates must have obtained a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate in the subjects of Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology and English in Senior Secondary (10+2) or equivalent recognized examination. For the candidates of reserved categories, the marks requirement will be 5% (of 50%) less than that prescribed for General category candidates i.e. 47.5% in the aforesaid subjects.

If the candidate has passed the Senior Secondary (10+2) or equivalent examination from a Board which is not a statutory Board his/her candidature will not be considered.

Admission of candidates to B.V.Sc. & A.H. degree course shall be made only on the basis of his/her merit in the NEET-2023 examination. No other merit/weightage shall be considered for admission to B.V.Sc. & A.H. degree course.

(c) Domicile Criteria:

Candadates from all over India will be eligible for taking admission in Arawali Veterinary College under Management Quota subject to fulfilling the other admission eligibility criteria.

(d) Physical Disability:

As per the Part III-Admission to the B.V.Sc. & A.H. Degree Course-Selection of students-7 (10) and (11) Regulations of the Veterinary Council of India-Minimum Standards of Veterinary Education-Degree Course (B.V.Sc. & A.H.) Regulations-2016, a candidate shall not be allowed admission to B.V.Sc. & A.H. Degree Course, if he/she suffers the following disabilities in physical fitness as listed below:
a) Disability of total body including disability of chest/spine more than 50 per cent.
b) Disability of lower limb of more than 50 per cent,
c) Disability of upper limb,
d) Visually handicapped candidates and those with hearing disability,
e) Candidates with progressive diseases like Myopathies etc.
f) Disability which otherwise would interfere in the performance of the duties of a Veterinarian.
The disability should be certified by a duly constituted and authorized Medical Board Comprising of at least three specialists, out of which two should be of the specialty concerned and the candidate has to present him/herself before the Medical Board. The last valid disability certificate of the candidate from a Medical Board should not be more than three months old from the date of submitting his/her certificate for disabled candidates.

Computer Lab

The College has a spacious Computer Lab to develop the computer skills of the Students. The basics of computers are taught to students.

Following computing facilities are available to all staff members and students of the College.

* Computers with TFT Screen.

* 24 hour's Internet.

Library
College Library is housed at a central place, provided with spacious browsing area and reading rooms. Adequate number text books on all disciplines of veterinary, animal and basic sciences are available in the library. Students and staff have free access and can use library facilities and borrw books and study material.
Library is equipped with internet facility. A new library building with modern faclities is in offing.

Hostel
Arawali Veterinary College provides on campus residential facilities for both staff and students. Twenty four hour water and electricity supply and security is ensured on the campus. Students’ hostels and faculty residences are provided with solar water heaters, central air cooling system, RO water purifiers and water coolers.

Hostels:

For students there are three men’s hostel and one women’s hostel on AVC campus and one women’s hostel in Sikar city. All students who wish to stay at AVC campus, are comfortably accommodated in the hostels.

A common Mess caters the food to students and staff as well. For women staff and students, food is served in dining hall in the women’s hostel itself.

Housing:

Being away from the hustle and bustle of city life, AVC provides rent free single room, one BHK and two BHK flats for faculty members. More flats for residential accommodation to senior teachers / professors are in pipeline.

Faculty House:

Fully furnished guest house is maintained on the cams to serve to provide lodging and boarding facilities to visiting faculty, examiners, experts, visitors and parents of students.

Personnel providing essential services are also provided residential facility on the campus.

Sports are an integral part of a students’ life .The saying ‘healthy mind in healthy body’ is accomplished by healthy competition and a team work AVC provides facilities for both in-door and out-door sports, athletics, gym etc. Annual sports week is organized where students participate in sports activities and judge their acumen.

AVC Management has deployed two buses for commuting both students and staff from and to the city of Sikar. Buses are also used to transport students for ambulatory clinical services in surrounding villages and educational tours.
