The Khaja Education Society was established in the year 1958 and registered in the year 1966 under Mysore Societies Registration Act 1960, by Late Padmashree Janab Syed Shah Muhammad Al Hussaini Saheb. Presently more than 24 educational institutions comprising of Primary, Secondary and Higher Educational institutions are managed by this minority Society in Gulbarga.

Khaja Education Society was initially created to nurture the hopes and aspirations of Muslim community. However its philanthropic approach and compassion for the unprivileged sections of the humanity has enabled it to provide path-breaking service since its existence. It has been working for the upliftment of all, irrespective of caste, creed or religion.

In the year 2007, Janab Dr. Syed Shah Khusro Hussaini ably succeeded his illustrious father Janab Syed Shah Muhammad Al Hussaini. Backed with an impressive academic background Dr. Hussaini is an idealist with a keen eye for practical details.

Admission

1. Bachelor of Arts (BA) Eligibility Criteria
   
   The candidate who has passed the two-year pre-university examination conducted by the Pre-university Boards in Karnataka and other States with Arts subjects or any other examination considered equivalent thereto by the College is eligible for admission to the 1st semester of the course.
   
   Student To secure admission in B. A course students must pass Class XII from a recognized board in the Arts stream. Also, students must secure a minimum percentage according to the cut-off stipulated by the respective college.
   
   
2. Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) Eligibility Criteria
   
   The candidate who has passed the two-year pre-university examination conducted by the Pre-university Boards in Karnataka and other States with science subjects or any other examination considered equivalent thereto by the College is eligible for admission to the 1st semester of the course.
   
   The student to secure admission to the BSc course students must pass Class XII from a recognized board in the Science stream. Also, students must secure a minimum percentage according to the cut-off stipulated by the respective college.

The candidates must be studying in Classes 11 and 12 at a recognised educational institution in India. Applicants must have scored at least 60% marks in the preceding class. The annual family income of the applicants from all sources must be less than or equal to₹2,50,000.
