About the Institute
C. K. Pithawala College of Engineering and Technology is a self-financed Institute which started its functioning in December, 1998 affiliated initially with Veer Narmad South Gujarat University, Surat and now with Gujarat Technological University, Ahmedabad. C. K. Pithawala College of Engineering And Technology is being managed by the Navyug Vidyabhavan Trust which was founded in February, 1965. The aims and objectives of the Trust are to provide facilities for higher education to students without consideration of caste, community, sex or religion and to undertake research in the exact and social science.

The intake capacity in Engineering Colleges in Gujarat State in the late 1990s was very much inadequate to cater the demand of the engineering graduates. Because of limited number of engineering colleges in the Gujarat state, number of students have to seek admission in colleges in the other states on India such as Maharashtra and Karnataka.

Looking to the above fact, in line with the objective of the trust, the institute “C. K. Pithawala College of Engineering and Technology” was established in the year 1998 under the aegis of the Navyug Vidyabhavan Trust to take upon itself the responsibility of providing technical education.

Late Shri. C. K. Pithawalla has been the driving force for the setting up of this institute named after him. The management has vowed to run the institute with the professional attention to each student to develop their overall personality and thereby making them more compatible to the Industrial standards. For the purpose, the institute is provided with all the necessary facilities for establishment of quality teaching learning process.

CKPCET Surat Admission Process
CK Pithawala College of Engineering and Technology, Surat offers admission to 6 B.E/B.Tech courses and 1 M.E/M.Tech. CKPCET Surat admission process is done as per guidelines of the Admission Committee for Professional Courses (ACPC). Candidates seeking admission to the courses should fulfil the eligibility criteria of the course and follow the CKPCET Surat admission procedure. CKPCET Surat UG admissions are based on the scores of the GUJCET entrance examination. For admission to CKPCET Surat PG courses, candidates are required to appear in the GATE and PGCET entrance examinations. Admission to the courses is available in full-time mode.

CKPCET Surat UG Course Admissions 2024
The institute offers admission to B.E/B.Tech courses in six specialisations at the undergraduate level. Some of the undergraduate courses offered by the institute are B.E Computer Engineering, BE Civil Engineering, BE Mechanical Engineering and B.E Information Technology. CKPCET Surat B.E/B.Tech admission is done for four years.

CKPCET Surat B.E/B.Tech Admission Process
Candidates interested in applying for B.E/B.Tech courses should meet the eligibility criteria and fill up the application form.

Admission to the B.E/B.Tech course is based on the scores of GUJCET conducted by the Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board and the counselling process.

Candidates who meet the CKPCET Surat cutoff should register themselves for the counselling process on the official website of the Admissions Committee for Professional Courses (ACPC).

The seat allotment of seats is done based on the performance of the candidate in the GUJCET examination and the number of seats available.

The final admission is done after document verification and payment of fees.

CKPCET Surat Placements
CK Pithawala College of Engineering and Technology, Surat has a training and placement cell that manages the placement process and coordinates with organisations for campus placement drives, summer internships, project work and industrial visits. CKPCET Surat placement facility is available for students with the training and placement cell of the college. The training and placement cell is managed by a training and placement cell in charge with a team of faculty members that helps students with several training programmes and guidance for interviews, aptitude tests and group discussions. As per NIRF report 2024, the CKPCET Surat median salary offered was Rs 2,90,000 for the undergraduate course for the academic year 2022-23.

The first step is the pre-placement talk for student-company interaction.

After that, final selection is done through personal interviews, group discussions and written tests.

Central Library

Library is a place where readers come to fetch information in their field of interest. The CKPCET library is enriched with latest collection on almost every engineering department, comprising of 4859 titles and 22061 volumes of references and this number increasing.

Hostel

The construction works are in progress for 50-100 rooms of the ground floor and first floor of the Hostel building. In fact the extension work was carried on priority basis and complete in record time in view of extreme paucity, a suitable accommodation particularly for girl students in the college campus more so, in the vicinity of the Educational complex.

Transport
Surat city is well equipped with various transportation options. Recently BRTS network has covered major part of city. ONGC Nagar is the nearest BRTS stations from college campus.
