The admission process at DSATM is conducted through common tests that are conducted by state agencies and national agencies like CET and COMMED-K. It commences in the month of March every year and concludes on 31st July of the same year. The lateral entry (Diploma Quota) through CET is for 3rd semester and commences in the month of July/August.

Admissions are made as per the university policies given below:

B.E Programs:
For UG, The admission to college is through the entrance test, Common Entrance Test (CET) conducted by Karnataka Government & Consortium of Medical, Engineering and Dental Colleges of Karnataka COMEDK. The students with meritorious ranking are considered for admissions.
A pass in 10+2 or equivalent examination in the first attempt with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as specialization
A pass in 10+2 or equivalent examination with 45 % marks aggregate in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and Biology/ Computer science/ Electronic
Admission through Management Quota:
Candidates should have passed with a minimum aggregate of 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics (PCM) and should have passed these subjects individually. Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry are compulsory subjects.

Dayananda Sagar Academy of Technology and Management has an elite placement division to facilitate the placements for all students.

The Centre provides pre-placement training in soft skills to all students to enable them to apprise to the modern corporate requirements in association with CIL - Centre for Innovation & Leadership and HR Division.

The Placement Division also supports training in CV Writing, Aptitude Assessment, Mock interviews, Group Discussion etc.,

Internship opportunities in various companies will be provided for interested UG/PG students. DSI is committed to provide best talent for corporates.

The Placement division works with Corporates to build the overall Development of Students as per industry requirements.

SCHOLARSHIP
Besides extending reduced fee structure for the Government quota, the university also extends Scholarships based on Merit and Economic considerations, the Students may apply for such concessions separately after admission.

Dayananda Sagar Academy of Technology and Management Bangalore provides facilities such as well-lit and airy classrooms, a college library, adequate IT infrastructure, medical health centre, and other such necessary facilities. DSATM Bangalore ensures a seamless learning experience through its variety of facilities, which are regularly updated and maintained by the institute itself. Boys Hostel
The institute provides hostel facilities to boys. The rooms are well furnished and are regularly cleaned, to maintain hygiene. The hostel building is under surveillance, for the safety of students.

The medical facilities at DSATM with adequate infrastructure, for timely medical treatment and first aid. The medical facilities are accessed by college members.

BUS FACILITY
Transportation facility is provided by the school for safe and comfortable commuting of our students to and from school. Every school bus is equipped with trained and experienced driver with a cell phone facility.
