Institute of Health Management Research, Bangalore (IIHMR, Bangalore) is a premier Institute for Hospital and Health management education in South India. IIHMR was previously known as the Indian Institute of Health Management Research. IIHMR Bangalore has a legacy extending over a decade imparting Health and Hospital management education, Training, and Research activities in South India. IIHMR Bangalore was founded in 2004 as the south campus of IIHMR Group of Institutions, offering flagship programmes in Hospital and Health Management. In the year 2010, IIHMR, Bangalore got approval from AICTE (All India Council for Technical Education), Ministry of HRD, Govt. of India to offer a two-year full-time PGDM (Post Graduate Diploma in Hospital and Health Management) programme with specialisations in Hospital Management, Health Management, and Health Information Technology (HIT) Management. The PGDM course has been designed and updated regularly by faculties and Healthcare Industry experts to match the Industry needs.

Any student, who has secured more than or equal to 75% aggregate marks, would be eligible for the scholarship of a 50% tuition fee waiver in the 1st year.
SC/ST/OBC and Economically weaker section (EWS), who has secured more than or equal to 50% aggregate marks, would be eligible for the scholarship of 50% tuition fee waiver in the 1st year.
50% concession on the total fee for serving army officials joining the PGDM program.
North East students, 20% fee waiver
(Note: The scholarship would be offered as a fee waiver in the 3rd instalment fee payable for the PGDM program.)

Scholarships are on a first come, first serve merit basis, subject to fulfilling the above criteria.

The Library of IIHMR Bangalore is a Central place for Academics, Knowledge Acquisition, and Research activities. It has a rich collection of books, periodicals, dissertations, Project reports, Faculty Publications, and case studies; the collection also includes e-resources from leading databases. Such as ProQuest, EBSCO Host, and J-Gate.

Hostel

The Institute has a well-furnished Hostel separately for men and women.
