Jayaraj Annapackiam College for Women (Autonomous), Periyakulam, re-accredited with ‘A+’ Grade at 3.46 CGPA in the Accreditation Cycle – 4 by the NAAC, renowned for its yeoman service in the field of Higher Education exclusively for women, established in 1971 as a Minority Christian Institution founded by the Sisters of St. Anne of Tiruchirapalli, a religious congregation, has a motto “Serve with Love” and has been affiliated to Mother Teresa Women’s University, Kodaikanal, since October, 2002.

Within a short span of nearly five decades, the College has become a locus of higher education in Theni Dtistrict as it has introduced programmes catering to the needs of students and now it offers 9 U.G. Aided Programmes, 8 U.G. Un-Aided Programmes, 3 P.G. Aided Programmes, 6 P.G. Un-Aided Programmes, 6 M.Phil. Programmes, 6 Ph.D. Programmes, 1 P.G. Diploma, 3 Diploma, 13 Certificate Courses, 3 Diploma and 2 Vocational Courses in JAC Community College under Choice Based Credit System (CBCS) through need-based, relevant, learner-centered, skill, job and value-oriented curriculum to enhance the research activities to impart quality-value based higher education on par with global standard.

JAC Periyakulam Placements 2024: There is a placement cell on the institute’s campus which provides employability and career opportunities to the graduating students of the JAC college. The students have to be eligible for the Jayaraj Annapackiam College for Women, Periyakulam placements drives that will be organised on the college campus. The placement cell also provides skill development and training programmes prior to the JAC placements drives. The skill development and training programmes provided by the placement cell of JAC Periyakulam college consists of Soft Skill Training, Spoken English Training, Life Skill Programme, Interview Techniques, Preparation of Resume, Aptitude skill and more on JAC Periyakulam campus.
