Jaya Engineering College, a part of the Jaya Group of Colleges, is a Co-Education Telugu Minority Private college situated in Chennai. JEC was established in the year 1995 with an emphasis on technological innovation, mechanical advancement, entrepreneurship and character building among the students. The institute provides various UG and PG Degree programs in the field of Engineering and Technology in Full Time mode.  The institute offers courses to students across 3 major streams; IT & Software, Engineering and Business & Management Studies including B.E (10 disciplines), B.Tech (3 disciplines), M.E (5 disciplines), M.Tech (1 discipline), MBA, and MCA.  Admission is Entrance Based - B.Tech - TNEA, MBA/MCA - TANCET, M.Tech - GATE/TANCET.  The courses are taught by highly educated faculty members at affordable fees to students. Admission Process:

• TNEA Application:  Admission to the B.Tech program is through the Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions (TNEA) process. Candidates need to apply Online through the TNEA portal.
• Merit List:  Based on the higher secondary marks, a merit list is prepared. The marks are scaled to 200, and ranks are assigned accordingly.
• Counseling:  Candidates are called for counseling based on their ranks in the merit list. During counseling, candidates can choose their preferred course and college

Eligibility:

• Candidates must have passed the higher secondary examination (10+2) with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (PCM) as core subjects.
• Candidates must have obtained a minimum aggregate of 50 % marks in PCM.
• Candidates must have completed the age of 17 years at the time of admission (as per the Tamil Nadu government’s age limit guidelines).
  
  

M.E / M.Tech

Admission Process:

• Admission to the M.E, M.Tech  program is through the Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions (TNEA) process. Candidates need to apply online through the TNEA portal.
  
• Candidates who have cleared the TANCET exam can participate in the Anna University counseling process.
  
• Register online for the counseling process and choose Jaya Engineering College as one of their preferred choices.
  

Eligibility:

• Candidates must have a B.E. / B.Tech degree (or equivalent) in the relevant branch of engineering from a recognized university.
  
• A minimum of 50% marks (relaxed for reserved categories) in the undergraduate program.
  
• Admissions to M.E, M.Tech programs are done through TANCET (Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test) conducted by Anna University.

MBA / MCA

Admission Process:

• Candidates must register online for the TANCET exam on the official Anna University website.
  
• Fill out the application form with personal and academic details and upload necessary documents like photographs and signatures.
  
• After the TANCET exam, candidates who qualify will be ranked and called for counseling based on their scores.
  
• Candidates can choose Jaya Engineering College during the counseling process, depending on their rank and preferences.
  
• Based on the rank obtained in TANCET, candidates will be allotted a seat in the MBA, MCA programs at Jaya Engineering College.
  

Eligibility:

• A pass in any recognized Bachelor's Degree (in any discipline) of minimum of 3 years duration with 10 + 2 + 3 years /10+3 years diploma*+3 years pattern / B.E./ B.Tech./ B.Arch./ B.Pharm./ 10+2+AMIE**/ 10+3years diploma*+AMIE*) pattern and should obtain the required percentage in the qualifying examinations.
• Candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized university with a minimum of 50% marks (45% for reserved categories).
