KLS Gogte Institute of Technology (KLS GIT) is the flagship Institute of Karnatak Law Society (1939), Belagavi established in the year 1979 to meet the growing demand for technically-trained workers.  This Autonomous Institute named after industrialist Rao Saheb Gogte, received the Excellent Technical Education Institute in Karnataka award at the August 9, 2014 National Karnataka Education Summit and Awards at Visvesvaraya Technological University in Bangalore. 

 
KLS GIT campus is located in a green surrounding of 23 acres of Mango grove at “Jnana Ganga”, Udyambag, Belagavi, Karnataka.

 
KLS Gogte Institute of Technology is permanently Affiliated and Autonomous under Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU), Belagavi.  It is Approved by AICTE and UGC, New Delhi and conferred with NAAC A+ and NBA accreditation.

 
KLS GIT offers 9 UG programs including BE (7 disciplines), BArch, and BSc (Hons).  It also offers 6 PG programs covering MTech (4 disciplines), MBA and MCA.  The institute also calls for 10 Research Programs - PhD approved by VTU, Belagavi.  The eligibility for admission to BE programs is based on the scores in CET and COMEDK. BArch candidate needs to qualify an aptitude test in Architecture conducted either by NTA (i.e. JEE) or “NATA” conducted by Council of Architecture.  One Entrance exam is mandatory for all the courses.

KLS GIT Belagavi Admission Process

KLSGIT Belagavi Admissions 2024: Admissions are provided to the undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral courses of the institute. For KLS Gogte Institute of Technology, Belagavi admissions, candidates must qualify in an entrance test followed by a counselling round. KLSGIT UG admissions are done based on the scores of the COMEDK UGET/ KCET/ JEE Mains/ NATA/ JEE Mains Paper 2 followed by the COMEDK/ KCET/ institute level counselling round. As for KLSGIT PG admissions a valid scorecard of the Karnataka PGCET or GATE is required followed by the PGCET counselling round. And lastly, KLSGIT doctoral admissions are provided after a personal interview of shortlisted candidates through VTU-ETR conducted by the university.

KLS Gogte Institute of Technology Application Process

Then, candidates have to fill in the application form on the admissions portal,
A self attested copy of documents is to be submitted along with the application form,
Candidates can only submit the application form after paying the application fee.

KLSGIT Belagavi BE Admissions Process
Candidates must qualify in KCET/ COMEDK UGET entrance exam and obtain a decent rank,
JEE Mains score card holders do not need to qualify in the entrance exam,
KLSGIT cutoffs will be released separately for COMEDK UGET/ KCET/ JEE Mains,
Candidates meeting the required cutoff percentile may proceed with COMEDK/ KCET counselling round,
KLS Gogte Institute of Technology is to be selected as the preferred college by the candidates during the choice fillings,
Candidates will be allotted seats based on the choice fillings and scores of the entrance exams,
Candidates have to verify their documents at KLSGIT Belagavi campus and pay the course fees to confirm their allotted seats.

KLSGIT Belagavi B.Arch Admissions Process
Candidates must appear for NATA/ JEE Mains paper 2 and obtain a decent score,
KLS Gogte Institute of Technology cutoffs will be released after the results of NATA/ JEE Mains paper 2 are announced,
Candidates who have acquired the required cutoff percentile may proceed with the counselling round,
Candidates have to select KLSGIT college as their preferred college during the choice fillings,
Seats will be allotted to the candidates based on the choice fillings and scores of the entrance exam,
Candidates have to verify their documents at KLS Gogte Institute of Technology Belagavi campus and pay the course fees.

KLSGIT Belagavi M.Tech/ MBA/ MCA Admissions Process
Candidates have to qualify in the Karnataka PGCET and obtain a decent score,
GATE can also be given solely for M.Tech admissions,
KLS Gogte Institute of Technology Belagavi cutoffs will be released separately for GATE and Karnataka PGCET,
Candidates who have obtained the required cutoff percentile may proceed with the Karnataka PGCET counselling round,
Candidates have to prefer the KLSGIT Belagavi college during the choice fillings,
