First Graduate
First Graduate certificate is provided to educate children from uneducated families so that the children and their families are guaranteed a bright future. In addition to this, the certificate reaches the underprivileged students who could not pursue higher education due to low financial status.
Eligibility
The applicant should be a resident of Tamil Nadu.
No other family members should have graduated.
Siblings should not have received this certificate.
Eligibility Criteria for Engineering Tuition Fee Scholarships
There are Four main eligibility criteria to avail engineering scholarships in India. They are:
Merit of the student matters
Community to which the student belongs to special arrangements have been made for SC/ ST/ SCA/ OBC and minority classes
Overall income of the student’s family during a financial year should be 2.5 Lakhs
Most of the fellowships and scholarships are based on the student’s merit. Also, the student has to join by TNEA Counseling and family income plays an important role in determining the award of engineering scholarships.
Also, The student has to apply for the community scholarship. Then only, they are eligible to claim the tuition fees scholarship.
Eligibility Criteria for Engineering Community Scholarships
There are three main eligibility criteria to avail engineering scholarships in India. They are:

Community to which the student belongs to special arrangements have been made for BC /MBC / BCM / SC/ ST / SCA
Overall income of the student’s family during a financial year should be for BC / MBC / BCM < 2 Lakhs and SC / ST / SCA < 2.5 Lakhs
Most of the fellowships and scholarships are based on the student’s merit. Also, the student has to join by TNEA Counseling and family income plays an important role in determining the award of Engineering Scholarships.
How to Apply for Engineering Scholarships ?
To apply for the Engineering Scholarships, interested and eligible candidates must apply after receiving the information from the college. Applicants must register themselves and fill out the scholarship application form.
After filling in the form, candidates must attach relevant educational/academic and proofs of financial status such as aadhar card, bank passbook etc. and submit the scholarship application to the administrative office directly.
Criteria for admission, Qualifying Examinations and Eligibility
A pass in the HSC (Academic: both +1 and +2) or its equivalent with a minimum average percentage in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry put together as given below.
Admission Policy
Admissions are made as per State Government Norms. 65% of seats through Single Window Counselling and 35% of seats are filled through the Consortium of Self-Financing Professional Colleges, Tamil Nadu, as per the norms of Government of Tamil Nadu.
Document retention policy
Original Certificates will be retained until getting Directorate of Technical Education approval
