Those were the days of the Raj and its hold on India was total and complete. Then came the days when its hold on Indians became less and less and reached to a point when the days of the Raj were numbered. By 1945 every Indian rose up to the occasion to the call of Mahatma Gandhi. Though India was enslaved by the alien rule Indians never felt enslaved and rose up to show that India was resurgent in every field of activity in every city, in every town and in every village of India. Bhandara district in the then known central province was also one of the shining examples of resurgent India. Admission Process

Manoharbhai Patel Institute of Engineering and Technology (MIET), Gondiya offers B.E program with an intake of 360 seats.

There is a provision of B.E. Lateral Entry admissions Diploma holders in Engineering/Technology awarded by the Maharashtra government or its equivalent with at least 60% marks in aggregate. It also offers a five-year B.Arch program with the annual intake of 32 seats.

The admission to B.E program is granted on the basis of score of JEE Main or MHT-CET while a valid NATA score is mandatory for B.Arch program.

The College computer center, there is an ultra-modern centrally air-conditioned computer center. The center has 2 Labs. The center has high-speed Xeon Servers with 150 HP Core2Duo PCs with TFT Monitor under LAN and Novell Network, Window 2008 Server, Windows operating system software like Windows 7 & Windows XP. In addition, Internet access through the Lease line (2 Mbps) is provided on every PC’s which is available for the students.
Cafeteria
The College has a well-equipped canteen is housed in a spacious building providing hygienic breakfast, lunch, tea, and snacks to students, faculty, and staff members at moderate rates. The area of the canteen is more than 243 square meters to cater to the need of more than 400 students of the institute. The canteen facility also caters to special functions arranged at different times with specialized food items as and when required. All the rules and regulations of the FDA are followed in the canteen.
Transport Facility
The Institute runs College Bus service along specified routes from the city to the college and back. The students of the Institute are offered transport facilities over various routes.

Laboratories
The institute has more than 38 laboratories to cater to all the departments running various engineering courses. All these laboratories are well equipped with the latest equipment for students to experiment with modern technology and give the desired experience to them while in the institute. Auditorium
The college has an auditorium facility for events and seminars. There are three seminar Halls with the required facilities to fulfill the need of the academic departments of the Institute. The seminar hall allows the institute to conduct national-level conferences, workshops, seminars, and other programs within its own premises. The central hall is having a seating capacity of 200 persons.
