I. Eligibility and Admission
As per the RGHUS and DCI norms.

II. Age Requirement
The Candidate shall have completed the age of 17 years at the time of admission or will complete the age of 17 by 31st December of the year in which he/she seeks admission.

III. Length of the Course
Four academic years, and twelve months of compulsory paid rotating internship thus making it five years course.

IV. Attendance.
Every candidate shall have attendance of 75% in theory classes and 75% in practical/Clinical in each subject in each year.
In case of subject in which instructional programme extend through more than one academic year and hence there is no university examination in the subject. (i.e. non exam going subjects), the attendance requirement shall not be less than 70% in lectures and practical / clinical. However, at the time of appearing for the professional examination in the subject the candidate should satisfy the conditions (a) above.
The failed candidate shall put a minimum of 75% attendance in failed subjects.

Maratha Mandal's Dental College and Research Centre - MMDCRC aims to provide placement assistance for all eligible students. Placement is a privilege extended to the students but can’t be claimed as a matter of right.
Please note that, we are not a part of the institute, we just gives you updates regarding Jobs and Campus Placements. We doesn’t allow the students to pay any amount to any agency/mediator for placements. Students who are interested in placements must fill the online application form for regular updates for new jobs and vacancies.

MMDC Belgaum Facilities

Boys Hostel
Separate hostels are available for boys. The medical supervisor is available at the call to provide any medical aid required for the residents of the hostel. In short, the students feel the care and comfort while staying in the hostels. It is the kind of home feeling for students.


Girls Hostel
Separate hostels are available for girls. The medical supervisor is available at the call to provide any medical aid required for the residents of the hostel. In short, the students feel the care and comfort while staying in the hostels. It is the kind of home feeling for students.


Medical/Hospital
The college has a health center with a first aid facility for the students.

Library
Good as it is to inherit a library, it is even better to collect one. Maratha Mandal’s Nathajirao G. Halgekar Institute of Dental Science & Research Centre, Belgaum established in 1992 has compiled a very wide range of books of authors of repute. We have about 3158 valuable references as well as textbooks. Back issues of National and International Journals from the year 1993 – 2017 are scientifically classified and cataloged. In total, we have got 53 Journals, out of which 41 are International and 12 National. Our Digital Library and Helinet facility provide access to online databases, offline databases, E-journals, E-books, E-documents.


Sports
On the occasion of Annual Day, the college has organized various Indoor and Outdoor Games for Students and Staff, which are going to be held during The medical match every year.

Auditorium
The auditorium of Maratha Mandal’s Nathajirao G. Halgekar Institute of Dental Sciences has been designed with a sitting capacity of over 250 persons at a time, with the latest inbuilt sound and lighting systems.
