The educational objective of the College is to prepare men and women for the service of the country. The College provides students with plentiful opportunities to critically understand society and its structures so that education becomes a tool to work for a human and just society. Stress is laid on academic excellence, character formation, social concern and human development.

The college places very high value on academics. The courses are rigorous and need daily application. Assignments have to be submitted by the due date. Presentations and participation in seminars and workshops are part of the academic life. Students who do not clear minimum number of papers/subjects in each semester cannot go to the next semester. College offers a wide variety of extra curricular activities. College has a reading room and a good library. Students are requested to join at least one of the Associations and thus develop academic relationships and a spirit of enquiry.

The time in College is the period when one has to build up character, hard work, perseverance, honesty, integrity, sensitivity to others and universal love that embraces all people cutting across barriers of language, religion and caste. Essential to any character formation is self- discipline. Lack of discipline in the College results in chaos and disorder and learning becomes impossible.

Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) in Mathematics Self Finance is a full-time three-year undergraduate degree course offered by the Manonmaniam Sundaranar University, Tirunelveli.


Eligibility Criteria
A person who has passed Higher Secondary/Intermediate (10+2) with science stream or any other examination recognized as equivalent thereto, shall be eligible for the course.
Master of Philosophy (M.Phil) in Commerce is a full-time two-year postgraduate course offered by the Manonmaniam Sundaranar University, Tirunelveli.


Eligibility Criteria
Candidates for admission to the M.Phil. program shall have a Master's degree or a professional degree declared equivalent to the Master’s degree by the corresponding statutory regulatory body, with at least 55% marks in aggregate or its equivalent grade 'B' in the UGC 7-point scale (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed) or an equivalent degree from a foreign educational institution accredited by an Assessment and Accreditation Agency which is approved, recognized or authorized by an authority, established or incorporated under a law in its home country or any other statutory authority in that country for the purpose of assessing, accrediting or assuring quality and standards of educational institutions.
A relaxation of 5% of marks, from 55% to 50%, or an equivalent relaxation of grade, may be allowed for those belonging to SC/ST/OBC(non-creamy layer)/Differently-Abled and other categories of candidates as per the decision of the Commission from time to time, or for those who had obtained their Master's degree prior to 19th September 1991. The eligibility marks of 55% (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever the grading system is followed) and the relaxation of 5% to the categories mentioned above are permissible based only on the qualifying marks without including the grace mark procedures.

Placement Experience: Totally 354 students were placed in the company's, through our college and through off campus they came through multiple rounds and they got placed in various companies over all students from all courses has been attended the interview. Wipro - 140 (3.1 l/a), Tcs-57(3.2 l/a), Cape Gemini-12 (3.5 l/a), Zoho-4 (4.2l/a).

Library
The College Library has good collections of books. The Library - Cum - Reading Room is open to all students and the members of the staff of the College. It will be kept open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on all working days. Students can borrow two books at a time on production of Library Cards and they are entitled to keep them for 30 days.

Computer Lab
The laboratories are fully equipped with latest configuration of top brand computers.

Sports and Games
A large number of our players represent the University in various sports teams. Our players hold the maximum number of University records. We hold records in 400 meter (Men),Javelin throw (men),Hammer Throw (Men),Weight lifting (Men) and 5000 meter(Women).Our students’ forte is Volley Ball.
