PMR Engineering College is a Private Self-financing Engineering College in Tamil Nadu established in the year 2008 by P.Muthuvelraj, Founder-Chairman.  The college is known for its quality education in engineering and technology. It has a high placement record with students placed in top companies. PMREC is located in Adayalampattu, VOC Nagar Main Rd, Next to Maduravoyil, Vanagaram, Chennai, Tamil Nadu.  The vibrant campus is spread over a vast area, providing a conducive environment for learning.

PMR is affiliated to Anna University, Chennai.  It holds accreditation from All India Council for Technical Education, New Delhi (AICTE).  

PMR Engineering College offers 4-year B.E./B.Tech courses at UG level with highly experienced faculty in Full Time mode.  The college offers B.E in Civil Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, and Mechanical Engineering. It also offers 2-year M.E program in Computer Science and Engineering.  Admission is based on the score in the Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions (TNEA) for UG courses and Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test (TANCET) for PG courses.
