Puducherry Technological University (PTU) is the first state University of Union Territory of Puducherry. It seamlessly came into existence on 5^th September 2020 upon the elevation of erstwhile Pondicherry Engineering College - PEC (established in the year 1985 under the 7^th five-year plan) with the University status. PTU began its journey with a position of pre-eminence and rightly stands as one of the finest engineering schools offering Bachelors, Masters and Doctoral study programmes in the prominent disciplines of Engineering/Technology, Science, Management and Entrepreneurship. Welcome onboarding for admission in PUDUCHERRY TECHNOLOGICAL UNIVERSITY! Students allotted seats in B.Tech./M.Tech./MCA/MSc. through admission authorities such as CENTAC, JOSAA and CSAB need to fill this form before visiting the academic section for admission. Students must remit admissible fee through the payment gateway mentioned in this form and upload the receipt copy for proof of successful payment. After successful completion and submission of this form, the application proforma will be mailed to the students in pdf format which the student must download, print, fill particulars wherever necessary and affix signature(s). The hardcopy of the proforma duly signed alongwith the original and self-attested copies of the certificates must be brought at the time of reporting to the academic section.

Puducherry Technological University provides Post-Matric Scholarship for eligible SC students in the Puducherry domicile. The college also provides free laptops and computers to the students undergoing the UG and PG courses provided that they belong to the SC community.

The first year (Academic Year 2023-24) students, who are willing to avail the facility of private charted buses run by PTU during the academic year 2023-24 are directed to remit the bus fees to the university using the link/QR code given below. The amount is to be paid through online. The validity of the bus pass will be for the entire academic year i.e., for 12 months from the start of academic year 2023-24.
