ABOUT OUR COLLEGE
The rapid growth of technology in almost all countries necessitated an extension of technical and legal education to the younger generation. Realizing the importance of legal education, the Dr. RAMADOSS EDUCATIONAL TRUST has been established on a sprawling campus as a realization of the great dream of a great thinker, a veteran social – reformer, an astute statesman, a valiant fighter of Tamil culture, an unassailable moralist and a tireless crusader for social justice, popularly called ” The second Periyar” who is none other than our Dr. AYYA. The trust started functioning in 2000 with service as its only moto stands committed to empowering the youth in general and the rural youth in particular who aspire to get qualitative and standardized education.
Saraswathy College of Arts and Science and Saraswathy College of Engineering & Technology play a crucial role in imparting quality education providing a congenial atmosphere for the development of value-based educational skills in vibrant and intelligent young men and women. Its mission is to produce good graduates and citizens who would promote our country to the status of a developed nation by 2020.
National Institute for Competitive Examination (NICE) has functioned on the same campus with effect from August 2007, giving free coaching, accommodation, and food to the IAS aspirants for the UPSC examination.
After a long legal battle that starts in 2008, our patience to establish a qualitative legal institute in the name of SARASWATHY LAW COLLEGE got to succeed in the year 2018. The prime motto of establishing the institute is to provide Legal Education with high quality and world-class standards for all aspiring students, especially from the rural folk and downtrodden in and around Tindivanam, Tamilnadu.
The courses offer an LL.B 3-year degree and B.A., LL.B 5 years degree course for the academic year 2018 – 2019. The college is approved Bar Council of India, New Dehli, and affiliated with the Tamil Nadu Dr. Ambedkar Law University, Chennai.

The candidates desirous of applying for 3 year LL.B Degree course and 5 year BA.LLB Degree Course through management quota can obtain the application form by paying the prescribed fee, from the Principal, Saraswathy Law College. And the candidates can also download the application form through our college website www.saraswathylawcollege.com.

The candidates who downloaded the application form at our College website should submit the application along with the Demand draft in favour of The Principal, Saraswathy Law College, Tindivanam for a sum of Rs.1000/- only.
The college offers B.A.LL.B Degree courses in two streams:
One for the students who have passed the higher secondary +2 level examination after 12 years of schooling. This course is named as 5 years integrated B.A.LL.B Degree program. First, two-year duration is mentioned as a pre-law Degree program. During these two years, students are being prepared with Literary English, Legal English other social science subjects like Political Science – Public Administration, Economics and Sociology. In this span the students are shaped with intensive orientation in basic law subjects, to get themselves prepared for a proper understanding and grasp over the substantive and procedural laws which they are to take up in the rest of 3 years of the course.
Placements :
100% assistance will be provided through internships, placement training and recruitment drives.
Job opportunities in the nature of Law firms, LPOs, Corporate firms, practicing advocates are made available to the students registered with the Placement Committee around the year.
Saraswathy Law College, Tindivanam Facilities
LibraryThe college has a library. All the present students of the Saraswathy Law College, Tindivanam are entitled to use the library. Readers desirous of using the library have to write legibly in the gate register their names and the class to which they belong and sign the register. Such signature shall be an acknowledgment, that the person agrees to conform to the rules of the library. Personal belongings like umbrellas, hats, bags, briefcases, mobile phones and etc., shall be left at the depository counter. Personal books or library books already borrowed or any printed materials should be left at the depository. Files are not allowed inside the library and if for some reason, they have to be taken inside; the such file should be made available for inspection by the assistant at the counter while leaving the library.

Moot CourtThe Institution hosts a modernized and well-equipped moot court. It gives a holistic approach to the students in practicing law.
Moot court facilitates the students an opportunity to participate in proceedings similar to that of a real court.
The students are trained in various skills like drafting briefs (memorials), oral arguments, and research works by eminent Judges, Lawyers, and Guest Faculty members. The professional skills are embedded and shaped through moot court which helps them in their professional career.
I.T InfrastructureThe college has an excellent IT Infrastructure facility for the students.
SportsThe college has sports facilities for all students. The Sports Club supports the aspirations of student sports enthusiasts with the right training, guidance, and coaching. Annual sports events and tournaments are conducted at the Institution to hone their skills and talents. Appropriate need-based training and necessary facilities are being provided by the club. Members are participating in inter-collegiate sports events representing the Institution.

ClassroomsThe college has A Smart Classroom a traditional lecture-style teaching space that has available technological equipment that can be used to aid and enhance the instruction of a course.
