SSET Ernakulam Ph.D Admission
The applicants must meet the prerequisites for SSET Ernakulam's Ph.D programmes.

The performance of the candidate in the qualifying examination determines whether they are admitted to the Ph.D. programs at SSET Ernakulam.

Our Training and Placement Cell provides assistance for the overall development of our student’s personality and thus makes them ready for placement activities. the department organizes on and off campus as well as pooled campus recruitments and pre-placement training programmes through aptitude tests, group discussions, interviews and presentation skills. the training programs offered enables students to identify their strengths and weaknesses and select the strategies for improvement. besides, we extend intensive support for their career development

The Placement Cell ensures that the students of SSET imbibe the right attitudes to make them invaluable in a corporate environment. it is geared up to ensure the most opportune placement for all the students who have cleared all courses, have good marks, are active in extra-curricular activities and have attended personality development and aptitude training programmes.

It is very important that the students attain a high level of competence to be selected by the recruiters. The students are advised to utilize all the facilities available at the campus including the special training offered to develop the skills that are indispensable for a modern engineering professional. We do not encourage the students, those who are placed through campus selection in a core company to attend the further campus interviews. The students aspiring for higher studies are encouraged to undergo competitive exams.

We have been partnering with top corporates like Infosys Limited, Noveloworx Digital Solutions, SOTI, Wipro Technologies, UST Global, TVS Harita Techserv, Redhat India Pvt. Ltd, Trident Techlabs for sharpening SSETians technical skills. We also have collaborations with top international universities and industries like HungKuang University Taiwan, Shimane University Japan, Daffodils International University Bangladesh, University of Applied Sciences Ravens burg-Weingarten Germany, University of Applied Sciences Furtwangen Germany, Limco GmbH, Konstanz, Germany, Nivus GmbH, Eppingen, Germany, Sewerin GmbH, Germany, Vrije Universiteit Brussel, Belgium that provides global exposure to our students. Our students also receive international placements through these collaborations.

Hostels
Separate hostels for men and women are available in the campus. The Men's Hostels can accommodate 489 students and the Ladies' Hostel can accommodate 390 students. There is a separate hostel for first year boys inside the campus. Security personnel have been deployed at the hostels round the clock.

A fleet of 22 college buses is provided for students and staff and plies to Thoppumpadi, Tripunithura, Kakkanad, Ernakulam, Kodungallur , Perumbavoor and Thrissur which covers all pick up points of the city and scheduled as per the convenience of class timings for staff and students. Separate college buses are provided for first year students.

Canteen

A state of the art cafeteria with a most modern centralized food production facility is also in place which serves both vegetarian and non-vegetarian (Halal meat) items. It has an area of 1300 m2 which is spacious enough to accommodate 500 students comfortably at a time. The canteen timings are staggered for first and senior years so that the new students are free to move in the campus.

The institute has 22 buses running to and fro between major parts of the city to college campus. The timings of the buses are prepared keeping in mind students' lecture time. Separate buses are available for first year students.
