On going Research Projects & Shram Sadhana Research Promotion Scheme (SSRPS)
The faculty members of the SSBT's COET are research oriented. They have received financial grants for supporting their advanced research activities from various agencies of Central and State Governments like UGC (Major research project and Minor research project), AICTE, Rajiv Gandhi Science and Technology Commission, Vice Chancellor Research Motivation Scheme, Innovations and Entrepreneurship Cell (Department of Science and Technology, GoI), etc. The IEDC (DST) has provided 45 lakh Rs for the innovative research projects of students. In all the college has received over 70 lakh Rs from various agencies to support research work in last three years. Apart from this the Shram Sadhana Trust has also started its indigenous scheme, named Shram sadhana Research Promotion Scheme to provide seed money to the innovative research ideas of the faculty members. Under this scheme, the trust has provided over 12 lakh Rs till now to various projects. The college has also received funds for organizing international conferences and seminars. Some brilliant ideas of the students have also been financially supported by the industries. Thus the college is dedicated for the societal service through research and technological input.
