Sri Jayaram Institute of Engineering and Technology, established in 2014, is the flagship Engineering Institution of Sri Jaya Vignesh Educational Trust.  The First Engineering College of the Trust, Sri Jayaram Engineering College was started in 2002, at Cuddalore, under the visionary leadership of the eminent industrialist Shri. Jayaram Sekar.  Under his initiative the second Engineering College named Sri Jayaram Institute of Engineering & Technology was established in 2014 at Gummidipoondi.   With his hard core determination, focused work and innovation SJIET achieved academic excellence.   With unwavering determination and a commitment to innovation, SJIET has strived to achieve academic excellence and empower generations of students.

The sprawling green campus of Sri Jayaram Institute of Engineering and Technology is spread over an area of 13.08 acres at 51N, Elavur, 58N, Natham, Gummidipoondi, Tiruvallur District, Tamil Nadu.

SJIET offers a comprehensive range of Undergraduate Engineering courses - BE. (in 3 disciplines), and B.Tech (in 2 disciplines) with an annual total Intake of 300 seats, providing students with the opportunity to specialize in various disciplines such as Agriculture Technology , Artificial Intelligence and data Science, Biomedical Engineering, Computer Science Engineering and Mechanical Engineering.  The admission is based on the TNEA entrance exam.

At SJIET, the priority is quality education and affordability, ensuring that all the courses are accessible to all aspiring engineers.  Education loan facilities are available at the institute to help students finance their higher education.  It also offers various Scholarships to meritorious students like 100% Scholarship for SC/ST and converted Christian and 50% Scholarship for First Graduate eligible students, etc.

·         Internship Program – The Internship Program, integrated with the U.G project for B.Tech/B.E students, spans a period of 10 months.  Internships with top companies are facilitated through the Placement Office. During the internship, students receive a stipend of over Rs. 30,000 per month.

·         Full-Time Employment Placement - Upon successful completion of the internship, students are absorbed into the recruiting company with a full-time employment placement offer, typically exceeding Rs. 10 lakhs per annum CTC.
