It is a matter of Pride that Sri Brahmatantra Swatantra Parakala Swamy Educational and Charitable Trust took over the management of the PU college located in Melukote - a sacred pilgrimage attracting thousands of devotees everyday, a sacred sojourn of Sri Sri Cheluvanarayana Swamy and Yoganarasimha Swamy, from "Janapada Seva Trust" in the month of June 2005.

This college is located in a serene atmosphere at the foot of a hillock aboding Sri Yoganarasimha Swamy with an ambience of the famous temple of Sri Cheluva- Narayana Swamy. The establishment of this college in Melukote has been of great advantage to those rural folk who have an ambition to pursuing their higher education after 10th standard. The college attracts students from villages situated in 8 kilometer radius around this pilgrimage. The college enjoys a strength of about 200 students studying in different courses related to Arts Faculty.

To renovate the Present Campus Area and existing building to suit the strength of the students and the needy infrastructure.
To construct domain-ready own building embodying the state-of-the-art infrastructure in the CA site in MYSORE.
To construct a wide spread institution in a sprawling area of one and half acres of land in Melukote to provide better facilities for rural folk to achieve the goals in education.
To establish a hospital integrated with Ayurveda, Homeopathy, Allopathy, Naturopathy, Siddha and other related sciences.
To establish an institution exclusively to provide and promote education and training to the physically challenged individuals.
To establish and manage Vruddhashrama (Old age Home) in Mysore.
To establish Orphanages, for the needy and the poor. (Abalashrama and Anathashrama).
To establish working women hostel in Mysore.
To renovate the dilapidated temple in the campus area in Melukote.

The whole admission process for all the courses offered is offline and merit-based. Any candidate who fulfills the minimum eligibility criteria can take part in the admission process. Admission to all the courses is based on the marks scored by the applicant in the concerned qualifying examination.
