The Hindustan Institute of Technology and Science Creative Arts Test (HITSCAT) is conducted particularly for admission to the liberal and creative arts programmes offered by the School of Liberal and Creative Arts (SLiCA).
The university has begun accepting applications for HITSCAT 2026 for admission to undergraduate programmes (excluding BTech, BDes, and BArch) offered by SLiCA. Eligible candidates can submit their applications online until May 22, 2026. The entrance examination is scheduled to take place on May 25 and May 26, 2026.
At the same time, Hindustan Institute of Technology and Science has also started the application process for postgraduate programmes for the 2026 academic year. Applications for PG courses, except MBA and LLB, will remain open until July 20, 2026, on the official website www.hindustanuniv.ac.in.

As per the official admission schedule, the list of selected candidates for PG admissions will be released on July 31, 2026. Classes for MBA and other postgraduate programmes are expected to begin in August 2026.
The selection process for postgraduate programmes will involve Group Discussion (GD) and Personal Interview, both scheduled to be conducted on July 27, 2026.
