To apply, candidates must visit the official website and select the registration link. Applicants will need to enter their personal, academic, and communication details, along with their GATE score information. After filling in the details, candidates must upload the required documents as per the specificationsand complete the application fee payment.
The IIT Madras GATE 2026 registration fee is INR 300 for SC/ST, PwD, and female candidates, while INR 600 is applicable for all other candidates.

IIT Madras GATE 2026 Result and Counselling Details
All MTech admission offerswill be displayed on the Common Offer Acceptance Portal (COAP). The detailed counselling schedule will be released shortly. Registration on COAPis mandatory, and candidates can complete it free of cost.
The Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) 2026 result will be announced on March 19, while the GATE 2026 scorecard will be available for download starting March 27 onwards. Candidates will be able to check their results through **GOAPS Portal using their enrollment ID and password.
