According to the latest academic prospectus, SRMIST is offering M.Tech in CSE (Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning) at its Vadapalani campus with a total programme fee of ₹3,00,000, along with a one-time registration fee. Admissions will be conducted through the SRMJEEE-PG entrance exam, while GATE-qualified candidates may receive direct admission depending on campus and specialization.

SRMIST has also expanded its offerings with a dedicated M.Tech in Artificial Intelligence and Data Science, featuring a unified curriculum aligned with global industry needs. The syllabus includes advanced modules such as Python for Data Science, Supervised and Unsupervised Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Computer Vision, Natural Language Processing, Big Data for Machine Learning, and Time Series Forecasting. Students will also undertake a multi-semester project or thesis to build strong research and development capabilities.

The institute has highlighted opportunities for full-time M.Tech students to receive a monthly stipend, subject to academic performance. Eligibility criteria include a BE/BTech in CSE or related fields, or MSc/MCA in relevant disciplines. Some campuses also consider GATE scores for direct entry.
