The National Testing Agency has now released the GAT-B and BET 2026 application forms along with the official notification. The final date to submit the application form is April 9, 2026. Candidates who qualify the GAT-B/BET examinations will be eligible for admission to programs under the Department of Biotechnology as well as for the DBT Junior Research Fellowship.
The GAT-B and BET 2026 examinations are scheduled on separate dates. GAT-B will be conducted on April 11, while BET 2026 will take place on April 13. Both exams will be held in online mode and will have a duration of 180 minutes (3 hours). The timing for Shift 1 (GAT-B) is 9:00 am to 12:00 pm, and Shift 2 (BET) will be conducted from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm.
