The institute has issued the PI shortlist for MBA admission 2026 based on candidates’ CAT performance and their academic background. For candidates belonging to the General category, the minimum CAT cut-off percentile is 90. Only those applicants who opted for IIM Sambalpur during CAT 2025 registration are considered for the PI process. The shortlisting criteria primarily include CAT scores and academic records.
The CAT 2025 results were declared on December 24, 2025, following which the IIMs initiated the PI shortlisting process from January 1, 2026. Several IIMs, including IIM Kozhikode, IIM Visakhapatnam, IIM Rohtak, and IIM Bodh Gaya, have already commenced their registration processes for the PI stage.
