IIT Kanpur Introduces Bachelor’s in Cyber Security: Apply Without JEE Advanced: Students who dream of studying engineering at an IIT now have another exciting opportunity. IIT Kanpur has introduced a new four-year technical undergraduate programme — Bachelor’s in Cyber Security.

One of the biggest highlights of this programme is that students are not required to appear for JEE Advanced to gain admission.

IIT Kanpur has launched this special Bachelor’s in Cyber Security course, and the programme has been introduced from the current academic year.

Students who have appeared for JEE Main during 2025–2026 and secured a good score can apply for this course.

Course Duration and Structure

The programme duration is four years.

Selected candidates will receive:

  • Two years of practical and internship-based training

This structure is designed to combine classroom education with practical industry and government exposure.
