The final scores for NID DAT B.Des 2026 Mains are expected to be released soon on the official website. To access the result, candidates must log in using their Email ID and Date of Birth.
The result will be declared for candidates who appeared in the following stages:
- NID Studio Sensitivity Test – conducted on April 19, 2026
- NID In-Person Sensitivity Test – conducted on April 26, 2026

NID Rechecking Window 2026
After the result declaration, the institute will open the rechecking window for candidates who wish to request a review of their scorecards. This window will remain open for 2–3 days only, so candidates are advised to act promptly.
Tie-Breaking Rules in NID B.Des Mains Result
If two or more candidates score the same total marks, the following criteria will be used to determine ranks:
- Higher rank will be given to the candidate with higher marks in TEST I: Studio Sensitivity
- If the tie continues, preference will be given to higher marks in Studio Sensitivity Test Question 3
- If still unresolved, higher marks in Studio Sensitivity Test Question 1 will be considered
- If the tie persists, the same rank will be assigned to the candidates
