The UCEED 2026 Round 1 seat allotment process begins today. All candidates who meet the eligibility criteria and have submitted the common B.Des application form can take part in the counselling procedure. Indian Institute of Technology Bombay will organize a joint counselling process for allocating seats in the B.Des programme.
Seats will be provisionally assigned based on the candidate’s All India Rank (AIR) in UCEED 2026, their category, and preferred institutes. Candidates who are selected will receive provisional allotment letters via their registered email IDs. To confirm their seat, candidates must pay the Seat Acceptance Fee of ₹60,000 (Rupees Sixty Thousand only) for GEN/EWS/OBC-NCL categories and ₹15,000 (Rupees Fifteen Thousand only) for SC/ST/PwD categories.
