XLRI Summer Internship Placements 2025: Average Stipend ₹1.6 Lakh/Month; Highest ₹3.5 Lakh/Month: XLRI – Xavier School of Management has successfully concluded the Summer Internship Placement (SIP) process for its 2025–27 batch across Jamshedpur and Delhi-NCR campuses, achieving 100% placements for 583 students. The B-school received 584 internship offers from 114 companies, including 28 first-time recruiters.


The institution reported impressive stipends this year, with the average monthly stipend at ₹1.6 lakh and median at ₹1.55 lakh. The highest offer touched ₹3.5 lakh per month, extended by a leading BFSI firm.

Placement performance remained stellar across cohorts, with:

  • Top 5% average stipend: ₹2.49 lakh per month
  • Top 10% average stipend: ₹2.40 lakh per month
  • Top 25% average stipend: ₹2.23 lakh per month

Moreover, 38% of students secured stipends above ₹2 lakh per month, while 81% received offers above ₹1 lakh per month.

Recruiters spanned a wide range of sectors including Consulting, BFSI, FMCG, General Management, E-commerce, IT, and HR.

New recruiters such as Standard Chartered, Meesho, Deutsche Bank IB, UKG, Philip Morris, Pine Labs, and JioStar also participated.

  • Consulting: Contributed ~30% of all offers, with firms like McKinsey, BCG, Bain, EY-Parthenon, Deloitte USI, and PwC US participating.
  • BFSI: Dominated with marquee names including JP Morgan Chase, Goldman Sachs, HSBC, Barclays, DE Shaw, Citi, ICICI Bank, NIIF, and NPCI, offering roles in Investment Banking, Markets, Wealth Management, and more.
  • FMCG & Conglomerates: Strong presence from HUL, ITC, Marico, Nestlé, Asian Paints, Tata Consumer Products, Aditya Birla Group, Mahindra, and Godrej Group.
  • Tech & E-commerce: Recruiters included Amazon, Flipkart, CarDekho, Media.net, TransUnion CIBIL, and Samsung.
