Chhattisgarh NEET UG 2025: Special Stray Round-2 Counselling Schedule Released for BDS Seats: Raipur, Chhattisgarh. The Directorate of Medical Education (DME), Chhattisgarh has officially released the Special Stray Round-2 counselling schedule for NEET UG 2025 BDS admissions under the State Quota.

The notification, issued on January 9, 2026, marks a crucial step for candidates who have been waiting for a final opportunity to secure dental seats in Chhattisgarh’s BDS programmes. As per the official notice, eligible candidates must appear physically at the designated counselling venue in Raipur with all original documents to complete the scrutiny and admission formalities. This counselling is being conducted in offline mode, emphasizing strict adherence to the schedule and verification process.

According to the released schedule, the scrutiny and admission process commenced on January 9, 2026, from 2:30 PM onwards. Candidates must complete the scrutiny by 11:30 AM on January 10, 2026, and the final admission process will conclude at 12:00 noon on January 10, 2026. All aspiring dental students are advised to reach the venue well ahead of time to avoid last-minute hassles, as failure to report within the specified timeframe may lead to cancellation of candidature. Since this is a Special Stray Vacancy Round-2, it may represent the last chance for students aspiring to join BDS courses through the Chhattisgarh NEET UG 2025 counselling process.

The Chhattisgarh Special Stray Round occurs against the backdrop of ongoing NEET UG 2025 counselling activities nationwide, including multiple rounds and additional stray vacancy processes under the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC). In fact, the MCC recently released its own special stray vacancy schedule for NEET UG 2025 admissions covering MBBS, BDS, and nursing seats at national level, showing the broader effort to fill leftover seats across states and quotas.

With thousands of students awaiting final allotment and reporting deadlines, this notification has generated significant attention among NEET aspirants, parents, and coaching communities. Candidates are strongly urged to keep tracking official updateson the DME Chhattisgarh portal and ensure all documentation is in order. Failure to adhere to the strict schedule could result in forfeiture of opportunity, especially given the limited window provided by this special round.
