Candidates eligible for Round 5 must strictly adhere to the timeline outlined by the counselling authority:
Online Registration & Fee Payment
- Begins: 02 January 2026 at 3:00 PM
- Ends: 02 January 2026 at 10:00 PM
- Online fee payment must be completed by 12:00 midnight on the same day.
Document Verification & Time-Slot Booking
- 03 January 2026, 10:00 AM – 3:00 PM
- Verification will be conducted at designated dental colleges with time-slot booking conducted through the official counselling portal.
Seat Matrix and Choice Filling
- Seat Matrix and verified candidates list published: 03 January 2026 after 4:00 PM
- Choice filling & locking:
03 January 2026 at 6:00 PM – 04 January 2026 midnight
Seat Allotment Result
- Declared: 06 January 2026 after 12:00 noon
- Candidates can check their allotment status on the official WBMCC website (wbmcc.nic.in).
Reporting & Admission Instructions
Candidates allotted seats in private dental colleges must report for admission at the respective institutes:
For Round 5 Allotted Candidates:
- 06 January 2026: 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM
- 07 January 2026: 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM
Reporting is subject to successful original document verification, required fee payment, and submission of bonds (if applicable).
Non-Reported Seats After Round 5:
Seats that remain unclaimed after the initial reporting window will be re-notified:
- Result for Non-Reported Vacancies: 09 January 2026 after 12 noon
- Reporting for these seats:
09 January 2026 : 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM
10 January 2026 : 10:00 AM onwards
This gives candidates an additional opportunity to secure a seat, provided they fulfil all verification and fee formalities.
