The initiative, launched by the institute’s SC/ST Cell, aims to support and prepare aspiring engineers for the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE).
The eight-week coaching programme will begin on November 17, 2025 and continue till January 9, 2026. The coaching is open to students from all engineering branches at NIT Warangal, as well as students from nearby engineering colleges in and around Warangal.
According to the institute, the program is designed to provide quality guidance, structured preparation, and expert-led sessions to help students excel in the GATE examination. Eligible students can register online and participate as per the issued guidelines.

In a separate development, Union Minister of State for Home Bandi Sanjay Kumar has pledged to pay the SSC examination fees for all students studying in government schools across the Karimnagar Lok Sabha constituency.
The minister has written to district Collectors regarding the initiative. As per official figures, 12,292 Class X students are enrolled across government schools in the constituency:
- Karimnagar district — 4,847 students
- Siricilla — 4,059 students
- Siddipet — 1,118 students
- Jagtial — 1,135 students
- Hanamkonda — 1,133 students
The total SSC fee support is estimated to exceed ₹15 lakh.
This initiative is expected to benefit thousands of students by providing both academic support and financial assistance in their exam preparation journeys.
