MHT CET 2026 Registration Window Closed: Upcoming Steps Candidates Should Know: The application process for MHT CET has officially come to an end. A large number of aspirants from Maharashtra as well as other states have successfully submitted their applications for the engineering and pharmacy entrance examination. Candidates can now look ahead to the next phases in the MHT CET 2026 schedule.


The Maharashtra State Common Entrance Test Cell has completed the MHT CET registration procedure. The registration deadline for MHT CET 2026 was extended until February 24. However, applicants were given an additional opportunity to submit their forms until February 27 by paying a late fee of Rs 500. The MAH CET application link remained active on the official website, www.cetcell.amahcet.org. With the application process now closed, candidates are waiting for the upcoming stages of the examination process.

The examination authorities will next activate the MHT CET application correction window for registered candidates. Applicants who made errors while filling out the online form will be able to log in during this period and make necessary corrections within the specified deadline. Candidates should remember that only selected fields will be editable. Information such as the registered email ID and mobile number cannot be modified.

For candidates who do not need to make any changes, the following stage will be the release of the admit card. The MHT CET hall ticket will be issued a few days prior to the examination date. The admit card will include essential information such as:

How Many Students Registered for MHT CET 2026 Till Now?

This year, the CET Cell has witnessed the highest-ever registration numbers for MHT CET 2026. In the PCM group (Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics), a total of 7,32,268 registrations were recorded. Among these, 4,52,931 candidates registered for the first attempt, while 2,79,337 opted for the second attempt.

For the PCB group (Physics, Chemistry, Biology), the total number of registrations reached 3,61,891. Out of these, 2,64,019 candidates applied for the first attempt, whereas 97,872 students registered for the second attempt.
